Questions about the next chapter

Are Weather Diary and Weatherly Diary the same app?

Yes. Weather Diary is becoming Weatherly Diary, called 웨더리 in Korean. It is an update to the same app, continuing your existing records, verified skin purchases and valid AI subscriptions.

Will Weatherly Diary 2.0 be free?

The planned 2.0 model is a free download with optional paid skins and AI Plus/Pro subscriptions. Until the actual transition, the download price shown by each store applies. Not every skin or unlimited AI is included.

What happens for legacy paid-app owners?

We are preparing a one-time grant of four skin credits for owners whose paid-app ownership before their platform's actual free transition is verified by the server. One credit permanently unlocks one skin. Credits do not expire and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Already-owned skins cost no credit. Unresolved original purchases can be reviewed through in-app support.

Are all records and photos uploaded?

Records are local-first. Consented encrypted device connections sync supported records, not photo files. Content you choose for AI, support or friend sharing may be transmitted separately. See the privacy notice for the applicable scope.
